Our Supplier program promotes an inclusive business environment pursuing long-term relationships with small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, veteran owned small businesses, service disabled veteran owned small businesses, and small businesses located in historically underutilized business zones, minority/ women-owned, small and indigenous businesses that deliver innovative, cost-effective, value-added products, services and solutions that enhance Global Lead’s ability to service its clientele worldwide.
Supplier Process
Here are the steps for becoming a Global Lead supplier:
- Be certified by a recognized certification organization
- Complete the supplier registration
- Interview with our head of purchasing function and learn about Global Lead’s proposal and bidding process
What a Global Lead supplier partnership requires:
- Quality & Service
- Track Record
- Excellent turn around/delivery time
- Capabilities/Expertise Optimization as well as Top key industries
- Technical Proficiency
- Competitive Pricing
- Responsiveness & Responsible Bidder
- Value add (what type of value-add—Services and Membership in select organizations (Chamber of Commerce, etc. In addition, if they have a GSA schedule or similar designation is a real plus/value add)
- Ethical Standards
Certification organizations:
Global Lead requires proof of certification in order to be eligible for our program. We accept certification from the following US-based organizations and their affiliates:
- U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
- National Minority Supplier Development council (NMSDC)
- Women Business Enterprise National Council(WBENC)
